Alyssa Griffith
Vice President
Alyssa Griffith is the co-owner of Watchdog Winery, a boutique vineyard and winery nestled along the Flathead River in Dixon, Montana. Together with her husband, she planted their vineyard in 2017, cultivating an acre of cold-hardy grape varieties that thrive in Montana’s unique climate. The winery, officially licensed in 2021, is named in honor of their loyal German Shepherd, who faithfully watches over the property. Passionate about Montana’s growing wine industry, Alyssa is now serving her third term on the Montana Grape and Wine Association (MTGWA) board of directors, where she continues to support and advocate for the state’s winemaking community.

The directors at MTGWA are focused on providing value to our members through outreach programs and festivals around the state. By exposing our wines to the public, sales will be generated and therefore require more fruit from vineyards around the state. Vineyards are the backbone of this industry and we are here to help provide information and real life experiences to new vineyard growers as well as seasoned veterans.
